- Dr. Ujjal Protim Dutta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at NIT Silchar, India. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Rangia College. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from NIT Durgapur.
- In 2024, Dr. Dutta was awarded the prestigious International Social Science Collaboration and Development Grant by the Association of Asian Social Science Research Councils, Australia. His research focuses on open economy macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and financial economics, with publications in leading international journals such as the Journal of Urban Affairs, Journal of Public Affairs, Technology in Society, Child Indicators Research, South Asia Economic Journal, Vision: The Journal of Business Perspective, Millennial Asia, and the Journal of Health Management.
- Dr. Dutta has actively contributed to the academic community by presenting his research at numerous national and international conferences. His work integrates theoretical insights with empirical analysis, offering valuable contributions to economic policy and financial market studies.
